Southern Rhone Red Blendrefers to a wide range of grape varieties often blended together to make wines in the southern reaches of the Rhone Valley in the south of France. While the blend could theoretically consist of any of a wide range of grape varieties, it is usually made up of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, in varying proportions, typically with Grenache and Syrah as the dominant partners.

Ownership: Founded by Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi, Sena is now owned by Vina Errazuriz. Indicative blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Prachtige Pinot Noir uit koel klimaat Elgin. Verfijnd aroma met rood fruit, florale tonen en iets toast. Ook in de smaak zeer elegant: sappig fruit, mooie frisse zuren, een lichte structuur en fijne tannines.

Waar Marlborough nog altijd dé Nieuw-Zeelandse regio is voor Sauvignon Blancs, heeft Martinborough van oudsher de reputatie voor hoog niveau Syrah  wijnen. De omstandigheden in de zuidelijkste regio van het noordereiland zijn dan ook perfect voor deze druif.

Indrukwekkende Roussillon. Verleidelijke geur van rijpe braam en blauwe bes aangevuld met nuances van zwarte olijf, leer en drop. Krachtig, vol en romig in smaak met stevige, gepolijste tannine en perfect verweven zuren.

Italiaanse rode wijn met een verfijnd kruidig, licht peperig en jam-achtig aroma. De smaak is soepel, zacht en elegant. Mooi bij risotto, geroosterd vlees of pittige kazen.

Nr 15 Top 100 Winespectator 2019: -   Wijnen van een uitzonderlijke kwaliteit, zoals deze Almaviva, vormen niet alleen een geheel, maar ze hebben heel duidelijk een begin, een midden, een afdronk en een eind.

Helderrood van kleur en met de geur van fris en krachtig vers rood fruit: kersen en frambozen. Elegante rode wijn, prima bij gevogelte en kalfsvleesgerechten.

Dieprode wijn uit de Franse Bordeaux, met de intense geur van rijp fruit, fijne kruiden en nuances van eikenhout. De krachtige smaak combineert uitstekend bij lams- of rundvlees.
