Deze rode wijn uit Noord-Italië behoort tot de top. Een intense en complexe wijn, om lekker van te genieten buiten de maaltijd om. Eventueel met een fijne, gerijpte kaas.
Flesinhoud: 375 ml
De naam Isole e Olena is welhaast synoniem aan sublieme sangiovese. Maar het lijkt wel alsof iedere druif die eigenaar en wijnmaker Paolo de Marchi aanraakt in goud verandert. Paolo’s Cabernet is niet alleen een van de beste van Toscane, maar kan zich ook gemakkelijk meten met de wereldtop.
De Minéral is misschien wel de signatuurwijn van chardonnay-specialist Agrapart. Deze prachtige droge millésimé Champagne is gemaakt van 100% chardonnay van de beroemde kalkbodems in grand cru's Avize en Cramant en verloochent zijn afkomst geenszins.

"Once again, there are fascinating champagnes to discover from Pascal Agrapart, the other godfather of the Côte des Blancs next to Anselme Selosse, who has just retired. Has there ever been a greater Minéral than the 2012? This wine is the most important one from Agrapart & Fils in terms of quantity. It's also more than affordable and one of the finest Blanc de Blancs you can get at this price (which should be no more than $100). I visited Agrapart in mid-April, and the wines were all just recently disgorged, which made it more difficult to taste them. Maybe the distance to Pascal's top cuvées—L'Avizoise and Vénus, both 2012 vintages—is farther than my scores might reflect, but the vibrant purity, sharp precision and expressive chalkiness of the tensioned Minéral, which blends the fruits of two vineyards in Avize and Cramant, is almost breathtaking. Take into account that you will make yourself a hero when you can offer your friends an Agrapart every time they jump in. They would also be quite happy with the non-vintaged Terroirs, which blends the fruit of four villages and is more filigreed but still complex.

The 2012 Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut Minéral is sourced from two chalky plots in Avize—Le Champ Bouton, which fermented in tank, and Les Bionnes, which fermented in barrel. It offers an excitingly pure, precise and fresh iodine-scented bouquet with elegant, concentrated fruit intermixed with chalky notes. On the palate, this is a great Blanc de Blancs that is clear, pure and balanced yet round, crisp and complex, with great finesse. It has a well-structured, very mineral and tensioned finish that also reveals intense, focused fruit and lingering salinity. Highly recommended. Disgorged with three grams of dosage in March 2018; tasted April 2018. A total of 15,000 bottles were produced, but only a portion of this has been disgorged so far."

De man achter het succes van deze rode wijn is Bourguignon en Languedoc-expert Laurent Delaunay. Naast de vakkundige wijnmaker van deze wijn is hij ook verantwoordelijk voor de druivenselectie. Het resultaat is zo goed dat de pauselijke naam Pontificis het etiket siert, met een knipoog naar de beroemde Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Italiaanse rode wijn met een intense, kruidige en jam-achtige geur. De smaak is zacht, vol en mild. Heerlijk bij gegrild vlees of wild, maar ook erg lekker na de maaltijd bij een gerijpte kaas.
Flesinhoud: 1500 ml
Delicate witte wijn met een geurexpressie van bloemen, appel, peer en brioche. Sappig, crèmig en opwekkend van smaak met wit pitfruit. De finale is mooi droog en verfijnd met zilte nuances.
Franse rode wijn met de geur van rijp rood fruit - zoals blauwe bessen en bramen - én een eikenhoutnuance. De smaak is vol en zacht. Fraaie wijn bij vele (vlees-)gerechten van de grill of wildschotels.
Oostenrijkse rode wijn met een krachtig aroma van rijpe zwarte bessen en bramen. De smaak is intens, sappig en vol: heerlijk bij verschillende vleesschotels en kruidige gerechten.
Prachtige, volrode wijn. In de geur aroma's van rijp donker fruit, kruidigheid en luxe eikenhout. De smaak zet vol en zijdezacht in en heeft een lange finale. Combineert goed met kruidige gerechten zoals stoofschotels maar is ook als begeleider van een stukje kaas of worst heel geschikt.
Heerlijke, droge witte wijn uit Italië, met een aroma van rijp geel en groen fruit. De sappige, frisse smaak komt goed tot z'n recht in combinatie met vis of verschillende voorgerechten.
Vénus is niet alleen de prestigecuvée van Agrapart, maar ook een van de meest indrukwekkende Champagnes van de streek. Gemaakt van 100% single vineyard chardonnay en zonder toegevoegde suiker, is dit een mineralige, complexe, welhaast Bourgondische Champagne.

Offering a clear, deep, complex bouquet, the 2012 Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut Nature Vénus is sourced from the La Fosse aux Pourceaux plot that is located just behind the domaine and has been farmed by horse for more than 20 years. It fermented and aged in used demi-muids until April before the unfiltered wine underwent the second fermentation in bottle under natural corks. The 2012 offers a pretty Burgundian and vinous nose with ripe fruit aromas intermixed with almost flinty/reductive mineral expressions. Round, very pure and salty on the palate, this is another highly finessed and elegant cuvée from Pascal Agrapart. The wine is intense, complex and almost rich on the palate, where the finish is so incredibly pristine, fresh and delicate, very detailed and provided with an enormously long and salty finish. No dosage. A great wine. Disgorged in March 2018 as Brut Nature. Tasted soon after in April 2018."

Met z’n houtrijping en maar liefst 5 jaar flesrijping een krachtige, complexe en mineralige champagne, met indrukwekkende lengte en jaren bewaarpotentieel.

From more clayey plots in Avize (Les Roberts and Les Gros Yeux), the 2012 Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut L'Avizoise fermented and aged entirely in barrels. It aged under natural cork for almost five years (at least this disgorgement from March 2018). The wine has a clear, deep, well-defined and quite fruity but also slightly flinty bouquet. Round, finessed and very elegant on the palate, this is a beautifully salty, focused, fresh and delicate Blanc de Blancs with a long, aromatic, precise and balanced finish. This is fabulous! Tasted very soon after the disgorgement in April 2018, so there is further potential."

Aromatische, droge witte wijn uit Spanje. De geur is intens en fruitig, de smaak vol, sappig en evenwichtig. Lekker bij diverse voorgerechten, pittige salades en schaal- en schelpdieren.
Volle, soepele rode wijn met een rijke smaak. De geur kenmerkt zich door aroma's van braam, blauwe bes en laurier. Mondvullend, romig en soepel van structuur met een lichte kruidigheid in de aanhoudende nasmaak. Kan prima zo gedronken worden, of bijvoorbeeld bij kruidige (vlees)gerechten.
